Partners and Managers   Shakar Elahi FCCA- Founder and Principal Partner   Shakar is a Chartered Certified Accountant and has over 22 years experience working in the accountancy profession and industry. He has developed his business and technical skills essential for growing SME’s, making him an invaluable Business Advisor. He is also a qualified Mortgage Advisor and specialist in Property and Business Tax. Before establishing Elan & Co in 1997, Shakar was a Senior Manager at Deloittes.       Bernadette Teuma CA - Partner   Bernadette is a Chartered Accountant and she has over 22 years experience working in the profession and industry. Whilst working in practice, she worked with SME’s, gaining invaluable skills in financial and management accounting, auditing and taxation. Whilst in industry she worked in financial management for a number of multinational firms including Colgate, AEG and 10 years at Shell enhancing her business process & systems skills. She joined Elan & Co as a Partner in 2002.       Jamal Rahman – BSc (Hons), MBA, MBCS Consultancy Partner   Jamal has 23 years experience as a Management Consultant.  Formerly a Director with Deloittes, he is a graduate in Computer Science, a Chartered Engineer and has an MBA. His experience covers a variety of industries in both the private and public sectors. He has led several business critical ERP implementations and assignments for a number of household names with a particular focus on the financial services sector.       Gary Fellows - Practice Manager   Gary is the firm's Practice Manager and has 22 years experience in general practice working with SME's. He has considerable experience in Accounts Preparation, Audit and Taxation. He also spent for 4 years in industry as a management accountant for a large furniture manufacturer. Gary is also very experienced with Solicitors, Doctors, Dentists and Property Agents, producing Accounts & carrying out Examinations for their respective governing bodies.
